Tesoro Condos has reportedly taken many deposits for presales and is currently insolvent. Even though these deposits were deposited with Stewart Funding, the contracts clearly stated that funds were to pass directly to the developers and the initial deposits were (supposedly) used for development expenses and have been spent. They are seeking to sell or secure additional funding and we believe that the pricnicples are sincere and hope to continue. Jaco Bay Condos has promoted their condos under the Ramada brand and it is true that Ramada has a hotel interest there. Two towers were completed and many people received refunds but other have not. We are currently attempting to get straight answers from the developers and are hopeful they will resolve their current outstanding issues and resume construction to complete the towers already under construction.
